Ellie Lagrandeur is a self taught Ojibwe artist with over 30 years experience. Having been born in Northern Ontario, the beauty of natural surroundings and wildlife inspired her to chase her dreams of becoming a professional artist.

In 1986, Ellie began her career creating large scale wall murals and canvas paintings. Her career led her to many opportunities in the art world throughout the years including various art shows, competitions, travel, teaching, and charities.

In early 2019, She began operating her family owned business, Dreamcatchers Art Rental Ltd, which is a proud certified aboriginal business through CCAB (Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business).

Together, with clients, Dreamcatchers Art Rental have proudly supported local charities such as: The Children's Stollery Hospital, Kids With Cancer Foundation, Edmonton Food Bank, and KTC Education Authority of Red Earth Creek Alberta. Ellie operates this through her own art gallery, Dreamcatchers Gift & Art Gallery located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta where she continues to paint.

Thank you Ellie for helping to make Painting For Truth a reality!
