Painting For Truth is a fully virtual paint night taking place on March 31st 2022 that sets out to use art as a medium for important conversations about Indigenous culture, history, and truth and reconciliation. Spend the night painting alongside Ojibwe artist Ellie Lagrandeur while learning more about Indigenous history, culture, and how we all play a role in truth and reconciliation! What makes Painting For Truth so unique is the medium of the messaging. By using art as the medium for impactful conversations, it gives out attendees something to hold onto and remember not only about the event, but the discussions had and how they can continue to help support and uplift Indigenous communities and peoples in their day to day lives, while becoming further aware of the truth that comes with the culture.
